1986 Mr. Salim Kaban started his days as a businessman by
establishing "KABAN Mak.San.Tic." After his 4 years of experience with
"Makine ve Kalip Fabrikasi", a branch of "Türkiye Sisecam
Fabrikalari"
1986 - 1989 At first, the company produced hydraulic
cylinders and lathing for the domestic market. The shop was only 20m2
at the beginning and 90 m2 later .
1989 By the beginning of this year, the company's success
required yet another move into a bigger space (a 70 m2 shop). By mid
1989, Mr. Kaban, with the support of PVC profile manufacturers in
Turkey, decided to manufacture PVC profile related machines that
would be well known in the marketplace as Kaban Makina LTDs.
1989 - 1994 Kaban Machine manufacturing shop grew to 500
m2. With this growth, the company's goal became to attain maximum
quality in the manufacturing and with this goal in mind, Kaban Makina
LTD did a first in its field, by buying a CNC Milling Machine.
1994 "KABAN MAKINA Sanayi", a sole proprietorship company
became "KABAN MAKINA Sanayi ve Ticaret Ltd.Sti." and LTD company.
1994 - 1998 Kaban Makina LTD's high quality products demand
grew in the local market and to respond to this demand, Kaban Makina
LTD moved into 2,500-sqm and added 4 new CNC machine centers
including horizontal processing centers, milling and lathing
machines.
1998 To serve wider range of costumers and reach the
international market, Mr. Kaban established his second LTD as "KABAN
IÇ VE DIS TICARET San. ve Tic. Ltd. Sti."
1998 - 2003 At this stage one of Kaban Makina LTD's goals
was to reach the International Market. Therefore, a Laser Cutting
Machine was purchased to reach maximum standards in the manufacturing
industry. During these years, Kaban Makina LTD obtained ISO 9001
Quality Assurance Certification and later on the version of 2000 was
also obtained. CE certification was completed for 13 of Kaban Makina
LTD's products, and the Russian and Ukraine "Gost Standard " was also
obtained.
2004 Kaban Makina moved into a new direction. Its production
plant is moving into a new 12,000-m2 location.
2007 The new production plant opened its doors. The plant was built in a "24 acres" lot, and the total closed area is expected to be 24,000 m2 with further enhancements.
In its effort to be ready for this new move, Kaban Makina is continuously improving the skills of its workers, R&D, Product planning, sales, and after sale departments.
Kaban has also obtained the patent of all its innovative
designs.
One of Kaban Makina's endeavor is to serve its customers beyond
satisfaction, and keep its "World Brand" reputation with high
quality, innovative and new products.
